Listen, we all know that social media sucks when trying to keep up with what's happening (the timeline is out of order, there are too many ads and suggested content that none of us signed up for, and so on). We'd rather build up and interact with our community directly, focusing on shared experiences and celebrating really good original music with our fans. If that sounds cool to you then sign up now and welcome aboard!

About
Born out of seasoned musicianship and a shared desire to create something original, A Moment of Green (aMoG) delivers a sound that’s full, rocking, and unapologetically human. Blending elements of alternative, Americana, and indie rock, the band crafts songs that feel both familiar and surprising, lush with harmony, anchored in groove, and charged with purpose. Their music invites listeners into moments of reflection and release: energetic and primal one minute, thoughtful and cathartic the next.
While the name aMoG is new, its members are far from strangers to the stage. All University of New Hampshire graduates and longtime players from the beloved cover band Wellfleet, the four-piece brings decades of live chemistry and musicianship to every performance. Each member contributes original material, creating a catalog that is diverse yet unified by tight arrangements, strong hooks, and authentic emotion. With four vocalists trading leads and harmonies and a rhythm section known for its precision and power, aMoG delivers performances that are both intentional and electrifying.
Each member of A Moment of Green brings a distinct musical lineage that fuels the band’s chemistry. Frontman and rhythm guitarist Pat Curry leads with emotive vocals and a lifelong devotion to songwriting, a passion that began with a childhood of spinning vinyl and has evolved into a mature command of melody and storytelling. Lead guitarist Ian Sleeper layers expressive tones and intricate textures shaped by years of performing across genres, from rock and jam bands to Americana and singer-songwriter circles. Bassist John Dinger plays with the energy and phrasing of a lead guitarist, grounding the band’s rhythm section in creativity and flair. Drummer Tom Ash anchors it all with precision and musical sensitivity, his background in jazz, funk, and experimental rock adding both groove and sophistication. Together, their shared respect for musicianship and collaboration defines aMoG’s signature sound.
Rooted in New England, the band balances careers, families, and an unwavering devotion to their craft. They moonlight as a wedding band to fund their original music, a dynamic that keeps them grounded and driven. Beneath the big hooks and soaring choruses, their songs wrestle with the push and pull of modern life: connection versus distraction, nostalgia versus progress, and authenticity versus artifice. Channeling the introspection of Dawes, the raw power of Kings of Leon, and the expansive energy of My Morning Jacket, A Moment of Green reminds us what live rock can still feel like: tight, unpredictable, and undeniably alive.
